Zack Snyder and Joe Manganiello confirm Zack Shot this scene

The dust has finally settled on last year’s release of  Justice League — a film that provided a total convergence of some of DC’s biggest heroes and villains. In fact, one of the coolest scenes in the movie is the post-credits scene showing Lex Luthor and Deathstroke meeting after Lex’s escape from Arkham Asylum. Now, it looks like we can definitely confirm that this scene was filmed by Zack Snyder before his departure from the film, because of a photo posted by Deathstroke actor Joe Manganiello. Check out his picture, below.

As you can see, that is a shot from Lex Luthor’s yacht where the evil billionaire propositions Deathstroke with the possibility of making a supervillain team (a.k.a The Legion of Doom or the Injustice League) to counter the newly-formed Justice League. The shot features Joe Manganiello in his trademark Deathstroke armor, with Lex’s henchwomen and the harbor in the background. In the caption of his Twitter post, Joe Manganiello confirms that Zack Snyder was the one who snapped the picture, thus proving that this scene was part of Snyder’s original vision for the film.

Justice League is a particularly tricky film to figure out because we still don’t know what director handled what scenes. Zack Snyder left the project midway through production after the death of his daughter, and The Avengers’ Joss Whedon stepped in to help overhaul the final cut of the movie. Zack Snyder remained the credited director on the movie, but numerous reports related to the film have suggested that the movie evolved quite a bit when Whedon stepped in to take the reins. Nevertheless, it looks like the scene between Joe Manganiello and Jesse Eisenberg was always intended to be in the final cut of the movie.
