Snyder Cut Released: A Message of Thanks
WE DID IT!!! After two and a half years of struggle, we have won! They have RELEASED the Snyder Cut!
Firstly, we would like to thank HBOmax and AT&T for working closely with Zack Snyder and his team to not only release his original cut, but to allow him to add more to it and produce it according to his vision. It means the world to us, and we hope that this marks the start of many fruitful collaborations to come. We look forward to seeing what Zack Snyder has in store for us and we will do everything we can to support these future releases to reward the trust and support placed in us.
To all the fans that have stuck with us through the campaigns, the fundraisers, and the Tweet marathons: Thank you for believing. Thank you for keeping the faith. Thank you for making it happen. Because of you, we have made history. Because of you, Hollywood will never be the same again. What was once a pipe dream back in 2017 is now a reality. What was suppressed and locked away will now be brought out for the world to see. It was you that made that happen. Every single one of you matters, no matter how big or small your contribution. And for that, you have our unending gratitude.
For the new fans that have just come on board – welcome. Just because the Snyder cut has been announced, the struggle is not over yet. We still have a long way to go and we will need all the help we can get.
In the last few days, AT&T and HBOmax have both shown that they are more than cold, inanimate institutions. They have shown heart; a level of care and attention to the fans of one of their greatest film franchises. They have interacted with us on Twitter, brought us great joy, and are interested in listening to what we want! This is quite something to behold in the modern climate, but we cannot grow complacent. Remember what caused this in the first place. Coordinated media attacks since 2016 led to Batman V Superman being cut by 30 minutes, followed by what happened to Justice League. We need to ensure that the voices of the fans remain louder than the voices of detractors, and that we continue to be listened to.
Remember: We, the fans, have the power. We are the ones who decide what to do with our hard earned money. We have the power to demand high quality, director driven filmmaking. We have the power to demand what we want to see: stories being told by storytellers. So since HBOmax and AT&T have done right by us, it is our duty to reward those decisions.

- Follow @HBOmax on Twitter and engage with their posts
- If you live in a country where HBOmax is available, order a HBOmax subscription and let them know with a Tweet or an email that you are making a purchase because of their support for the Release the Snyder Cut movement.
- Continue to post / tweet #ReleaseTheSnyderCut on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, we now have the job of marketing this film to ensure it is successful.
And here’s what you can do in the coming months:
- Support Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead on Netflix.
- Continue to talk about what you would like to see in the future.
- Maintain a positive attitude – we’re here because of what we love, not because of what we hate. Let’s not give the haters any attention or traction to damage the respectability of our community.
- And lastly, build community. We have said this so many times and we will say it again. We could not have done this without every single one of you!
This marks a new chapter in our journey, and there is much cause for celebration. We are so thankful to our new allies, and we look forward to the next exciting chapter.
